The 4th of July in Indian Valley is always a fun and special time, as people from all over flock to the area for camping, fishing, water-sports, and of course, the annual Silver Buckle Rodeo in Taylorsville.
Feather River Properties is proud to support the Indian Valley Riding and Roping Club and members of our community. Pictured above is a young bull and bronc rider getting ready for his ride in shoot #5.

This past weekend Taylorsville was host to the Black Hawk Solar Cook-Off. Good music and great food attracted many, even this brown bear! Just some of the amazing local wildlife in Plumas County…

This last weekend (June 30th – July 3rd) was the 21st Annual High Sierra Music Festival. Thousands of tourists and locals alike flocked to Quincy, CA for this great festival, held yearly at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds. The town of Quincy seemed nearly deserted until passing by the fairgrounds where just about everyone could be found! With hundreds of food, crafts, clothing vendors, and more from both local and out of town there was so much to look at and do. With four stages for music and lots of room to dance, Beer Gardens provided by Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, and lots of on-site or close camping have made this event a top destination during summer vacation.
Make this event part of your summer plans for next year and check out the High Sierra Website for videos, photos, and footage from this year’s Festival.
