Taylorsville and North Arm, CA

Founded by Jobe Taylor in 1852, Taylorsville is the oldest settlement among the towns of Indian Valley. Located on the far side of the valley, Taylorsville and North Arm offer exceptional views of the surrounding mountains and valley floor and provide access to many of the recreational lakes and hiking trails. If you are visiting the area do not miss the Taylorsville Museum and the world class Gem and Mineral exhibit, a must see for rock hounds and history enthusiasts alike. The small town of Taylorsville is home to many events, including the 4th of July Parade and Silver Buckle Rodeo, the Solar Cook-Off, the Holiday Light Parade, and much more; it is a scenic refuge for residents and visitors alike.
